As 2024 became the hottest year ever recorded, the pressure on corporations to build resiliency and act on increasing climate disruptions has intensified. Kyndryl’s Readiness Report reveals that while most companies are prioritizing sustainability in their tech strategies, more than half are still falling short of their goals. The gap, the report found, can be closed with smarter systems — using AI to embed sustainability into core operations and reduce environmental impact.

Kyndryl’s own progress is drawing international recognition. The company earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally. It was also named one of TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies and ranked among Forbes’ top 200 Net Zero Leaders. With a target of net-zero emissions by 2040 and achieving an 11% reduction since 2023, Kyndryl is positioning itself not just as a services provider but as a sustainability partner for the digital age.

“We are incredibly proud of the recognition Kyndryl has received for its environmental stewardship and sustainable practices,” said Faith Taylor, Senior Vice President of Global Citizenship and Sustainability at Kyndryl. “These accolades are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our global teams in over 60 countries, who strive every day to make a positive impact for Kyndryl and our customers.”
