米国ニューヨーク - 2022年12月7日（現地時間）発 — 世界最大級のITインフラストラクチャーサービスプロバイダーであるキンドリル（NYSE: KD）は本日、2040年までにネットゼロ（温室効果ガス排出量実質ゼロ）を達成する計画を発表しました。このコミットメントにより、サステナブルな未来に向けた基盤作りにおいて、責任ある事業の実現を目指すキンドリルの取り組みはさらに強固なものになります。

キンドリルはIPCC（Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change：気候変動に関する政府間パネル）の科学的勧告）に基づきネットゼロ目標を設定しています。IPCCでは、地球温暖化を1.5℃に抑えるべく、2050年までに全世界の温室効果ガス排出量をネットゼロにする目標を掲げています。キンドリルのネットゼロコミットメントは、科学的な枠組みに従うものであり、スコープ1、2、3における排出量の絶対的な削減を含みます。この脱炭素計画は、キンドリルのビジネス戦略に沿って立案され、旧来の施設やデータセンターをより持続可能性の高いインフラに統合し、再生可能エネルギーの利用を増やし、サプライヤーやアライアンスパートナーにはサステナブルな活動の促進を働きかけます。

• 購入する電力の100%を再生可能エネルギー由来とする
