Forza Steel to modernize operations with Kyndryl

MEXICO CITY, August 25, 2025 — Forza Steel, S.A. de C.V., a leading Mexican manufacturer of carbon steel pipe, has selected Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, to drive a broad digital transformation of its business. As part of this initiative, Kyndryl will migrate Forza Steel's SAP environment to SAP Cloud ERP Private (previously SAP S/4HANA Private cloud)  on Microsoft Azure and establish a comprehensive ecosystem of data and AI to elevate operational productivity and improve customer experience with a 360-degree integration.

With more than 25 years of experience in the construction and pipeline markets in Mexico and the United States, Forza Steel operates manufacturing plants in Salinas Victoria and Guadalupe, Nuevo León, and recently expanded its operations to Brownsville, Texas, to get closer to its North American customer base. As the company expands and aims to become the top carbon steel pipeline company in North America by 2030, Forza Steel is leveraging Kyndryl's expertise to modernize its IT systems and unlock new levels of agility, insight and resilience across its operations. Kyndryl Consult is also working with Forza Steel to develop a detailed change management strategy for all phases of the business, from discovery to go-live, so that employees are fully integrated, informed and participating in the journey.

Using industry best-practices and SAP Activate methodology, Kyndryl experts will migrate Forza Steel’s environment from on-premise SAP HANA to SAP Cloud ERP Private on Microsoft Azure. The migration is expected to have low customization to further support greater operational efficiency and compliance.

As part of the digital transformation, Kyndryl will also implement a robust Internet of Things (IoT) and data analytics solution to automate manufacturing processes. The scope includes migrating data to the cloud, deploying Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics through machine learning models integrated with Azure IoT Hub, powered by a new data infrastructure. In addition, Forza Steel and Kyndryl will collaborate on data science models to optimize and automate decision-making in key business areas.
