Frequently asked questions (FAQs) for end users
In a web browser, go to https://login.kyndryl.com
- Click Sign Up
- Enter required fields and review Kyndryl ID Privacy Statement
- Click Sign Up
- Set up your security methods
- Verify your email to activate your Kyndryl ID account

Your Kyndryl ID:
- Must be in a valid e-mail address format (i.e. name@domain.com)
- Must be no longer than 100 characters and no shorter than 5 characters
- Cannot contain an @ special character except to separate user and domain (i.e. name@domain.com is valid but n@me@domain.com is not)
- Except for characters ‘ ` ~, no diacritical marks are supported
- The period character (.) may not be used to start or end the part of an email address that precedes the @ symbol (known as the “local” part), nor can two or more periods be used consecutively
- Unicode characters are not supported
Kyndryl ID strongly recommends 15 or more characters for enhanced security.
Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- A lowercase letter
- An uppercase letter
- A symbol
- No parts of your username
- Does not include your first name
- Does not include your last name
Tips for creating a strong password:
- Should be memorable to you but difficult for others to guess
- Mixing upper and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters adds complexity
- Avoid using obvious words (e.g. MyPassword2), proper names (e.g. Michael123), or pop culture icons (e.g. Superman1) as the root of your password
Note: If you use your company sign-in to log in, password requirements are defined by your company.
Your Kyndryl ID is in the form of an email address. If you experience difficulties accessing your Kyndryl ID account, contact Kyndryl-ID@kyndryl.com for assistance.

Note: Self password reset will not work through the link if MFA was not previously set up. If you experience difficulties accessing your Kyndryl ID account, contact Kyndryl-ID@kyndryl.com for assistance.
Kyndryl ID does not require MFA enrollment, however, MFA is required for:
- Self-service options (i.e. self-password reset)
- Access applications that require MFA enrollment
- Kyndryl strongly recommends you set up at least 2 security methods for enhanced security
- To reset/update your MFA enrollments, log into your end user settings (https://login.kyndryl.com/enduser/settings).
Note: If you use your company sign-in to log in, you will not be able to enroll MFA with Kyndryl ID. MFA should be enrolled with your company’s login.
You can view and edit your personal contact details directly on your profile once you have registered.
Primary or secondary email address cannot be changed. Register for a new Kyndryl ID if your email address needs to be changed.
Note: If you use your company sign-in to log in, you will not be able to edit your personal information. This information will need to be updated with your company.
- Sign into your end-user settings
- Click Edit on the top right corner of the box labeled Display Language
- Select preferred language
- Click Save
Note: If you use your company sign-in to log in, you will not be able to edit your display language.

If you encounter the following errors/issues, contact Kyndryl-ID@kyndryl.com for assistance.
- You no longer have access to the email account associated with your Kyndryl ID or feel that the security of that email account has been compromised
- Unable to sign in
- Unable to reset your password
- Loss of device associated with the MFA you have setup in your account
- MFA not functioning to authenticate
- Account is locked out
Note: Accounts auto-unlock after 1 hour
Try these steps:
- Refresh the page
- Clear the browser’s cache/cookies
- Log into https://login.kyndryl.com
- Open URL to the application URL you were trying to access
