Forward deployed engineering is at the core of how we deliver. We work in cross-functional squads - alongside human systems architects who integrate organizational change and design from day one, and Kyndryl Consult Partners who shape strategy and client relationships. Together, this triad owns outcomes end-to-end.
Working with us, you won't hand off a design and move on. You'll embed directly with customers, build and ship alongside the people using your work, and iterate in the field. Every engagement sharpens our methods and feeds intelligence back into the platform. It's a fundamentally different operating model from traditional consulting or siloed engineering.
What we do
You’ll lead collaborative AI labs and design sessions with customers, challenge assumptions and map future‑state workflows. Using agentic ingestion, you’ll incorporate enterprise context to define next‑generation AI operating models.
You’ll engineer and test agent catalogs, reference patterns and secure multi‑agent workflows in cross-functional squads. Your systems will integrate with complex customer environments and become part of mission‑critical infrastructure - and you'll own what you ship.
You’ll shape the Future Workforce Model, defining new roles, enabling AI–human collaboration and embedding continuous upskilling, and helping customers shift from experimenting with AI to scaling it safely. Working alongside human systems architects, you'll ensure organizational change is integrated from discovery, not bolted on afterwards.
You’ll architect governance, transparent coordination and resilient multi‑agent operations at enterprise scale. You’ll turn AI from a proof of concept into a trusted and measurable engine of transformation.
