NEW YORK, February 1, 2024 – Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced new leaders in Japan and France. The appointments underscore Kyndryl’s commitment to modernizing and managing mission-critical systems and services for its customers, and position the company well for long-term growth.

Jonathan Ingram has been promoted to President, Kyndryl Japan, effective April 1. Ingram joined the Kyndryl Japan leadership team in July 2023 as Country Vice President to drive the company’s go-to-market transformation and business development. He has 25 years of experience working with global customers in various industries and has a deep understanding of how to modernize organizations' environments using private and public cloud, mainframe, digital workplace and helpdesk services, and service integration and management. Prior to his current role, he was most recently Managing Partner for leading financial institutions in Europe, managing an international team to deliver infrastructure services, and transforming the services to a modern, flexible arrangement with DevOps.

Ingram will succeed Takashi Uesaka, who has been appointed Executive Advisor, Customer and Partner Relationships. In this role, he will drive meaningful customer transformations by leveraging his customer relationships, his deep technical expertise, including with Kyndryl Bridge, and his experience in managing complex IT transformation projects. Uesaka became President in 2021 to lead Kyndryl as it became an independent company, leading the major transition of its internal processes and systems to new platforms and its culture transformation.

Jerome Calmelet has been named President, Kyndryl France. With more than 20 years in IT services, Calmelet brings a wealth of experience managing complex deals, including large-scale transformation and hybrid cloud projects. He has built long-lasting, trusting relationships with his customers and their partners and influencers, and has a strong reputation in the French market. He helped establish Kyndryl Consult in Europe and led the company’s consulting business in Strategic Markets as Vice President of Kyndryl Consult.

Calmelet succeeds Philippe Roncati, who has been appointed Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. In this role, he will bring his wealth of experience and customer knowledge to advise the company on global initiatives. Roncati will remain President of Kyndryl SAS, Kyndryl France’s legal entity, through the end of the fiscal year to ensure a smooth transition.

“Today’s appointments of Jonathan and Jerome ensure that we accelerate our progress against our strategic objectives, continuously adapt to our customers’ needs and position Kyndryl for our next phase of growth,” said Elly Keinan, Group President, Kyndryl. “I want to thank Uesaka-san and Philippe for their commitment to building our Kyndryl Japan and France businesses, and I look forward to their continued contributions.”
