Kinship @ Kyndryl

Overview

When we created Kyndryl, we put empathy and trust at the center of our culture, The Kyndryl Way. We’re proud that our number one driver of employee engagement is belonging. That sense of belonging — being a valued, respected, trusted member of the team — is fundamental to engagement, creating great experiences for customers and at the heart of The Kyndryl Way.

The “Kyn” in Kyndryl came from kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers, and our communities.

Kinship @ Kyndryl works to strengthen these bonds by striving for all Kyndryls to feel included and well, helping them be ready for their next career opportunities, and fostering bonds with our customers and the communities where we work and live. Kyndryls are at the heart of our business and our focus on a purpose-driven workplace where every Kyndryl can be healthy and happy and thrive.

Kyndryl Inclusion Networks

Kyndryl Inclusion Networks (KINs) are company-sponsored, employee-led resource groups open to all Kyndryls and dedicated to creating safe spaces where employees can find and provide support and advice. We want to create an environment that empowers Kyndryls to bring their whole selves to work and to support the activation of our culture, The Kyndryl Way. Participation is voluntary, and all Kyndryls may join KINs either as members of these communities or as allies.

At all levels, KINs play a vital role in contributing to an environment where employees feel valued and empowered to succeed. Local KIN chapters exist in over 30+ countries, and additional KINs have been formed based on unique local business and employee needs, such as the Veteran KIN in the U.S.

KINs are organized at the enterprise level with chapters at the country level and include:

  • Asian Pacific Islanders
  • Black
  • Hispanic -Latinos
  • LGBTQ+
  • Native/Indigenous/First Nations
  • People with Disabilities/Neurodiversities
  • Women
