Enterprise Business Continuity Management (EBCM)

Enterprise Business Continuity Management (EBCM)

Kyndryl’s Enterprise Business Continuity Management (EBCM) follows a Business Continuity Management (BCM) planning framework aligned with widely recognized industry guidelines and the ISO 22301 standard and has a robust business resilience capability that enables Kyndryl, drawing on years of experience, to serve its customers by assessing potential disasters. This approach includes:

  • Establishing and reviewing business continuity requirements based on impact and risk.
  • Implementing and operating Business Continuity Plans.
  • Regular monitoring and reporting of business continuity preparedness through testing and maintenance to continually improve business continuity effectiveness.

The framework encompasses guidelines for organization, roles and responsibilities, documentation templates, and procedures. Foundational to Kyndryl’s planning framework are the four impact scenarios: Workplace Unavailable, Workforce Unavailable, IT Unavailable, Supplier Services Unavailable, with additional scenarios Regional Disaster and Global Event.

We will activate one or more mitigation plan(s) in the event of a natural disaster, pandemic, IT disruption (cybersecurity threat, system failure, data breach, network disruption), or geopolitical risk affecting Kyndryl.
