June is Pride Month — a time to honor the strength, contributions and lived experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. At Kyndryl, we celebrate the power of authenticity — how individuals, organizations and communities thrive when everyone is empowered to show up as their true self. This Pride Month is a call to action for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies: to learn with intention, uplift with purpose, and build lasting connections that transcend borders and identities.

Here, three Kyndryls share their thoughts on Pride Month, allyship and the importance of well-being at work.

Gianfranco Trionfetti

Director, Customer Partner

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment has been helping to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work.

What is the best piece of career advice you have received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to be authentic and true to myself at work, which would unlock my full potential while inspiring others to do the same. Coupled with integrity, which fosters trust and respect across teams, this approach has shaped my success.

At Kyndryl, we are focused on well-being. How do you focus on health and well-being?

It can be challenging in a fast-paced environment, but I prioritize well-being by setting boundaries between work and personal time. Spending time with my loved ones and doing physical exercise helps me relax.

Tell us about the importance of allyship in your journey.

I’ve rarely met people willing to stand up against discrimination when it happens; belief isn’t enough, actions matter. Within Kyndryl, I’ve found allies through our LGBTQ+ Kyndryl Inclusion Network (KIN), a business resource group. They’ve played a crucial role in driving our community’s empowerment initiatives.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

I led a major data center migration project. The environment was high-stress and highly restrictive. It was a challenging experience, but it remains the most productive and professionally fulfilling period of my career.

What is the best piece of career advice you have received?

Never stop learning and do not wait until you feel fully ready. Just take the opportunity and grow into it. That mindset has helped me move forward, even when I’ve had to rely on self-research more than guidance.

What does Pride Month mean to you?

Pride Month is a celebration of authenticity, resilience and community — but it’s also a time of reflection. It reminds me to honor the trailblazers whose courage made today’s opportunities possible. Pride is about visibility, yes — but it is also about responsibility: to power progress, uplift others and keep building inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive.

Tell us about the importance of allyship in your journey.

Allies are essential. In spaces where our community is underrepresented, allies help amplify our voices and open doors. I’m especially grateful for those who speak up when it’s hard, listen with empathy and help create spaces where we can show up fully.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

One of my proudest accomplishments has been co-chairing our U.S. LGBTQ+ Kyndryl Inclusion Network. Over the past three years, it’s been incredibly rewarding to help grow and support our LGBTQ+ community. This role has allowed me to give back in a meaningful way and grow as a leader.
