MADRID, September 29, 2022 – INFORMA D&B (a subsidiary of Cesce), a leading provider of business, financial, industry and marketing information, and Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced the successful transition to a hybrid cloud model that will underpin INFORMA’s digital transformation.
INFORMA, together with Kyndryl, undertook this transformation project with the aim of evolving its central infrastructure to a hybrid cloud approach. The new environment provides flexibility and adaptability, allowing INFORMA to smoothly transition traditional business processes alongside those already digitized, while maintaining a high level of performance. The transformation accelerates the time to market in the deployment of new services for the business, simplifying their implementation and enabling the company to better serve its customers.
The agreement also includes support from Kyndryl’s data processing centers in Madrid which expands and strengthens cybersecurity and resiliency services. In fact, the solution is based on a hybrid cloud environment in two data centers (active/active mode) supported by multi-vendor cloud environments, highly orchestrated to provide flexibility in moving loads between the different environments easily and securely.
“This project has been an important challenge with more than 60 INFORMA technicians involved as we were changing the whole IT platform,” said Alberto González Calero, CTO of INFORMA. "It is probably the largest project ever executed in the company. It has finally been a success and we are delighted because it will allow us to continue offering the best and most advanced technological solutions for our clients."
