NEW YORK, August 3, 2023 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, announced today that it has been positioned as a Leader in the Gartner® July 2023 “Magic Quadrant™️ for Managed Mobility Services, Global”1   report, which evaluates vendors based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision. A complimentary copy of the full report is available here.

Gartner defines managed mobility services (MMS) as vendor-provided IT and business process services required to plan, procure, provision, activate, ship, manage, secure and support mobile devices, related accessories, management systems and mobile applications. The goal of MMS is to deliver operational and commercial effectiveness for its end users. This includes data security implementations, maximized device (and consequently user) uptime, visibility and control of the mobile estate, inventory optimization, lower total cost and higher return on investment, and improved end-user experiences.

According to Gartner, “Leaders must prove that they have developed and invested in systems and resources to address the growing needs of this market. They start with device-specific forward and reverse logistics and the management of customer-owned UEM instances, grow to mobile application development, and then integrate mobility into the business process when required. Leaders must consistently update their existing service products to address rapidly changing use cases so that they can be relied on for enterprise-class delivery and service management. Leaders have proven technical competence and the ability to meet broad and deep user requirements."

We believe our continued recognition as a Leader in this space is a testament to our strong culture and talent that allows us to deliver the skills, strategic partnerships and data-powered services for our global customers year-over-year.
