Kyndryls Give

Global 

People across the world celebrate Earth Month in April, but for many Kyndryls that celebration happens all year long. They contribute to a greener future every day, both at work and at home. 

 

Portugal

Around 50 Kyndryl volunteers planted 1,400 saplings and harvested more than 2.5 tons of agricultural products. This activity was organized to support a sustainable and inclusive project that aims to train and socially-professionally integrate people with intellectual difficulties.

Hungary 

In multiple Career Orientation Day activities, Kyndryl volunteers mentored 220 students from Grades 5 to graduating classes. The volunteers interacted with the students and their teachers, discussed industry trends, and shared a view of the career opportunities available at Kyndryl. 
 

UKI

25 Computer Science students and teachers visited the Kyndryl office in Dublin, Ireland to gain insights into the technology sector, and help with build skills for the workplace and data centers and drive them on their career journeys. The speakers included several senior Kyndryl leaders. 

Romania

Iuliana Dragut believes in kindness. She volunteers as a teacher for the Romanian non-profit Asociatia Tara Tinerilor Uniti and helps empower children from disadvantaged rural areas. 

 

Czechia

Kyndryl received the TOP Responsible Company Helping the Environment award from the 2022 TOP Responsible Firm awards for Kyndryl volunteers’ work on Cybersecurity Workshops for Kids project.
 

Bulgaria

Over 130 Kyndryls took part in a teambuilding activity and collaborated with Milosurdie za teb ("compassion for you")  to help get school supplies for vulnerable kids in Varna.
 

Poland

Kyndryl’s Eco Stream volunteer group, an employee group dedicated to supporting environmental sustainability and zero waste, worked together to build eco-friendly kennels for dogs.
 

Poland

Volunteers from Kyndryl Poland and the Client Innovation Center partners with the Marek Kaminski Foundation and Google Cloud to teach kids about AI using a humanoid robot named Noa.

Kyndryls in Poland planted trees with Kyndryl CEO Martin Schroeter, Global Head of Corporate Affairs Una Pulizzi, and Chief Human Resource Officer Maryjo Charbonnier.

 

United Kingdom

Corinne Doherty took part in Kyndryl's Carbon Literacy training - developed by the Carbon Literacy Project. "I thoroughly recommend the course to raise your understanding of how to reduce carbon emissions."
 

Australia

In celebration of NAIDOC Week and recognizing the history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Kyndryl Australia organized a planting day to assist Indigenous nursery, Indigigro, through our partnership with One Tree Planted.
 

Australia & New Zealand

Kyndryl joined forces with the New Zealand Blood and the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood to spotlight the importance of blood donation - which generated enough donations to save 100 lives.

 

Japan

With a decades long commitment to supporting underserved kids in Thailand's Hills Tribes, Mariko Tagawa has been using education to transform children’s lives for the better.

 

India

For this employee-driven initiative, Kyndryls use an app that promotes sustainability and wellness, and encourages carpooling and helps with CO2 emissions reduction to map rides, track CO2 emissions, and share information.

USA

Kyndryls in Columbia, Missouri volunteered with the Show-Me State Games, a state-wide program promoting health and fitness, garnering them the 2022 SMSG Corporate Volunteer award.
 

USA

For more than a decade, Christopher Matt has been volunteering at hospices where he practices being a listening presence and showing reverence and radical empathy.

Portugal

Over 100 Kyndryl volunteers partnered with Plantar uma Árvore to help restore the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park through the planting of native species and the conservation of areas affected by recent natural disasters. By contributing to ecosystem recovery and biodiversity preservation, volunteers helped build a more resilient environment while supporting long-term sustainability in local communities.

Hungary

Kyndryl volunteers took part in a charity bike ride around Lake Velence in support of the Red Nose Clown Doctors Foundation’s mission to bring hope and laughter to children in hospitals and nursing homes.

Bulgaria

Over the past four years, Kyndryls in Bulgaria have delivered over 380 Christmas Stars gifts to orphanages and care homes across the country with support from the Volunteering and Eco Committee Bulgaria. Together with the Annual Charity Christmas Bazaar, this initiative is one of 2026’s most popular activities.

Poland

Kyndryl volunteers in Poland supported the Wierzbice Children’s Care Home by restoring its park area, creating a safer and more welcoming environment for children with disabilities.

Through the Kyndryl Mainframe Academy, Kyndryl volunteers in Poland have trained more than 50 students and young professionals over the past year, providing hands-on experience with enterprise mainframe technologies and opening new pathways into careers supporting the mission-critical systems that power the world's largest organizations.

 UKI

During Earth Month, Kyndryls and  volunteers from a customer organization helped maintain London’s most central urban woodland, which is home to several rare and nationally scarce species and a vital green space for the local community.

Australia

As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, Kyndryl has partnered with Indigenous nursery IndigiGrow since 2022, to support environmental restoration and Indigenous-led community initiatives in Australia. Through this partnership, Kyndryl employees have helped restore more than 1,500 native plants.
