Dagrofa selects Kyndryl in strategic six-year agreement to modernize IT environment

ATHENS, Greece, May 12, 2026 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced the expansion of its long-standing collaboration with Ethniki Asfalistiki, a leading insurance provider in Greece. Kyndryl will further modernize the insurer’s mainframe environment hosted on Kyndryl zCloud, which will help to establish a strong foundation for future application management.

Ethniki Asfalistiki originally selected Kyndryl to manage its on-premises mainframe environment in 2021. As part of its ongoing transformation, the insurer subsequently engaged Kyndryl to modernize, migrate and operate its core workloads using Kyndryl’s zCloud mainframe services.
As a result, the company has improved the performance and agility of its mission-critical systems while reducing risk and supporting ongoing modernization. The insurance industry in Greece is experiencing increasing demand for digital services, driving the need for more agile and resilient IT operations. Ethniki Asfalistiki’s core systems support the processing of millions of transactions and the delivery of services to more than 1.9 million policyholders in Greece.
