Leading Danish IT provider FDC expands IT modernization services agreement with Kyndryl

COPENHAGEN, September 15, 2025 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced an extended agreement for 5 years with Forsikringens Datacenter A/S (FDC), one of Scandinavia’s leading Software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers for the insurance and pension sector to future-proof its core mainframe infrastructure.

FDC serves over four million customer policies for insurers and pension funds across Denmark, Norway and Sweden, primarily through its F2100 platform. The platform is a central pillar of the Nordic financial and insurance infrastructure.

Under the new contract, Kyndryl will migrate and upgrade FDC’s existing mainframe estate to Kyndryl’s state-of-the-art Twins Data Center in Belgium. The transformation will also include a shift to Kyndryl’s zCloud platform, enabling greater agility, enhanced security and improved cloud integration for FDC’s mission-critical workloads, without disrupting ongoing operations.
