LONDON, December 14, 2023 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, has successfully been awarded the contract to provide managed mainframe services on the zCloud. 

This will be a two-year contract during which Kyndryl’s zCloud services will provide business continuity services for the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

 Technology to Enhance DVLA Customer Service and Operational Efficiency 

With the rising demand for digitalization and seamless customer service, DVLA has an ongoing program to modernize its existing systems.

Continuity of mainframe services during this transformation will be critical to its success. By harnessing Kyndryl’s mainframe modernization capabilities, the DVLA will be able to maintain outstanding service levels to UK citizens, while navigating the transformation journey. 

Kyndryl’s contribution will be transformative to how customers use the DVLA’s services in the future, by enabling the DVLA to securely pivot in line with future technology advances.
