10-year IT services agreement will drive innovation through hybrid cloud transformation
MADRID, April 7, 2022 - Cecabank, the leading Spanish wholesale bank in Securities Services, and Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced an agreement to transform and manage Cecabank's core IT services. The new 10-year contract includes a commitment to invest in a hybrid cloud platform enabled by VMware, as well as other container and cloud-based applications, to help accelerate Cecabank’s innovation.
Cecabank and Kyndryl have been working closely together on the management of their infrastructure for more than two decades. Under this new agreement, Kyndryl will help Cecabank adopt a container-based, hybrid cloud architecture that enables them to tap innovation through their customer services. This new agreement expands the IT services and expertise that Kyndryl offers Cecabank to help propel its journey to the cloud.
Through this collaboration, Kyndryl is also helping Cecabank integrate technology that will help them respond to evolving regulatory needs. Kyndryl has deep knowledge and experience in helping Cecabank anticipate future developments and be as agile as possible in order to respond to the demands of a vibrant sector.
