NEW YORK, October 5, 2022 – Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced new leaders in key markets. The appointments underscore the company’s commitment to modernizing and managing the world’s mission-critical systems and services and will sharpen Kyndryl’s focus on a differentiated business to drive long-term growth.

Xerxes Cooper is promoted to President of Strategic Markets, one of Kyndryl’s four reporting segments. Cooper previously led Kyndryl’s Canada business, where he was instrumental in progressing high-growth opportunities with customers and partners. Farhaz Thobani becomes President of Kyndryl’s Canada operations. Thobani has extensive experience leading large-scale technology services initiatives in the manufacturing, communications, and energy sectors and has served as a Managing Director for Kyndryl’s business in Canada.

In addition, Kyndryl named Amy Salcido to President of Kyndryl U.S., the company’s largest market. Salcido was the company’s Chief Customer Engagement and Transformation Officer, where she was recognized for exceptional customer engagement, and also served as General Manager for the consumer and travel industry sectors.

Kyndryl also appointed Ashish Kumar to President of its Australia and New Zealand business. Kumar has more than three decades of experience leading business units throughout Asia, including in Australia and New Zealand. He has a proven track record growing customer relationships with top brands and has led successful strategy, sales, and delivery programs in the telecommunications sector.

The company’s strategic objectives for growth center on three initiatives – Alliances, Advanced Delivery, and Accounts – for strong relationships with leading technology partners, enhanced service delivery through upskilling and automation, and proactively working with existing customers to reorient key accounts.

Kyndryl continues to advance these initiatives. It has formed alliances with 20 leading technology partners, and recently launched the new Kyndryl Bridge open integration platform and the Kyndryl Vital designer-led co-creation experience to transform delivery. The company continues to sign new projects with customers including with leading international airlines and auto manufacturers
