Here, Kyndryl Vice President and Consult Accelerator Hub Leader Annapoorni (Annu) Rajkumar details how the Kyndryl-AWS collaboration is worth more than the sum of its parts.

How does the Kyndryl-AWS collaboration differ from other cloud partnerships?

Annapoorni Rajkumar: We want all our collaborations to be strong, and we’re investing heavily to build a robust partnership with AWS. One of my key focus areas is strengthening our collaboration by demonstrating Kyndryl’s commitment to our shared success. For example, we’re working aggressively to drive AWS business by collaborating on advanced agentic AI initiatives, exploring synergies between Kyndryl and AWS’s AI capabilities.

One highlight of our partnership is the AI Innovation Factory, where we develop cross-industry solutions. At AWS re:Invent, we will demonstrate multiple assets we developed for various industries like insurance, banking and healthcare. Our newly developed Healthcare AI Assistant is designed to transform patient care workflows — everything from clinical efficiency to patient engagement. This project is among the many industry-specific solutions we plan to create with AWS. Our particular focus is on the healthcare and insurance industry sectors, where our combined expertise can help us deliver tangible business outcomes.

To position Kyndryl as a trusted partner for complex enterprise transformations, we’re pursuing AWS certifications to deepen our technical expertise in their platform. As an AWS Premier Tier Partner, Kyndryl has earned more than 11,000 AWS certifications, 15 Competency Certifications and 10 Service Validation Certifications.
