Our partners

The United Way

United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.

United Way (New York, USA): Kyndryl supports United Way's JobsFirst New York City initiative to help inform the needs and priorities of businesses through active participation in the sector network together with workforce developers, government, and other stakeholders. This initiative aims to realize a multi-sector vision for a modernized and aligned workforce development system in New York City.

United Way (Latin America): In a partnership with United Way and its network of accredited schools, more than 1,000 Kyndryl volunteers will carry out a series of activities in 8 Latin American countries that aim to introduce STEM activities to more than 3,000 school-age girls and boys, teenagers, and teachers, encouraging them to learn more about future professional possibilities that STEM careers can offer. These volunteers will also help teachers adopt new ways of including STEM education into day-to-day activities to foster interest in technology and science.

Federation University

In Australia, Kyndryl supports Federation University students by offering the opportunity to complete 1,600 hours of work-integrated learning as part of a paid internship offered to Information Technology students. Kyndryl is committed to supporting the need for work placements and recognizing their relationship with employment success.

The Professional Practice internship students are provided with real world experiences under the guidance from their assigned mentor to expedite growth in their area of study and prepare them for graduate programs or further studies.

TEACH

TEACH (Together Educating All Children in Hospitals) is an international not-for-profit organization led by Executive Director, Isaac Snyder, that brings exciting, hands-on, educational programming to children in hospitals. Kyndryl selected TEACH as its partner for Kyndryl’s Distinguished Technical Program, which recognizes exceptional technical professionals for their groundbreaking contributions. Through this partnership, Kyndryl’s inaugural class of Distinguished Engineers committed to furthering TEACH’s mission to bring STEM education to hospitalized children.

Kyndryls give back

Working with the Kyndryl CSR team, members of the Distinguished Technical Leaders Program took time to create STEM videos as part of a volunteer give back to TEACH.
