Highlights of Future Forward Education initiatives

Aprendamos STEM – Let’s Learn STEM (Latin America)

Kyndryl collaborated with the regional arm of the United Way to run the Aprendamos STEM (Let’s Learn STEM) program across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Peru. The program has directly impacted over 2,800 individuals, including teachers and young students. This collaboration enabled Kyndryl volunteers to dedicate more than 4,000 hours to imparting key science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) principles to learners and educators.

Collaboration with Generation (Brazil)

Kyndryl partnered with Generation, a nonprofit enterprise dedicated to tackling youth unemployment and enhancing young people's access to job opportunities and professional development across multiple countries. Kyndryl enabled Generation’s volunteers to serve as mentors for students keen on entering the IT world as budding professionals. The inaugural phase of this initiative brought together 49 mentors, facilitating 49 young professionals in securing their initial career openings. Now in its second iteration, 42 volunteers are actively involved.

Collaboration with The Prince’s Trust (U.K.)

The Prince’s Trust is a nonprofit enterprise that supports young people aged 11 to 30 who are unemployed or struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Kyndryl established a three-year partnership in December 2022 and provides support for the Trust’s education programs and skills-based volunteering opportunities for Kyndryl employees. In FY24, Kyndryl employees positively impacted 135 individuals via education activities, including interview practice, resume reviews, presentation skills workshops, enterprise challenges, and sustainable business sessions.
