Kyndryl to lead Cesce’s IT transformation and modernization

  • Cesce signs a multi-year agreement with Kyndryl to manage and modernize critical IT systems

  • Partnership strengthens cybersecurity and cyber resilience capabilities across the group’s IT environment, helping to support compliance with the EU’s DORA regulation

MADRID, September 16, 2025 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced a collaboration with Cesce, the head of a group of companies that offers comprehensive solutions for the management of commercial credits, credit and surety insurance in Europe and Latin America. Under the six-year agreement, Kyndryl will manage and modernize the Group’s critical IT infrastructure while strengthening its cybersecurity and cyber resilience capabilities.

“At Cesce we have more than fifty years of experience ensuring the activity of Spanish companies in the national and international market, in environments as dynamic and subject to radical changes as the technological one. It is critical to have companies like Kyndryl manage such complex information systems,” said Karim Kaidi, Director of Systems and Organization at Cesce.

“We are very grateful that companies like Cesce, with highly complex environments and managing a large amount of data, have trusted Kyndryl to manage their critical systems. The use of advanced technologies such as cloud and artificial intelligence will be key to transforming their environments and enhancing their security posture,” said David Soto, President of Kyndryl Spain and Portugal.

As part of the partnership, Kyndryl will manage and modernize Cesce’s entire IT infrastructure, helping the company advance its modernization efforts by adopting new technological standards and achieving key improvements in its digital capabilities.

Kyndryl will utilize Kyndryl Bridge, the company’s AI-powered open integration platform, to enhance the observability of Cesce’s systems, as well as the automation and optimization of its IT operations.

A key component of the partnership includes establishing a DevSecOps office, which will transform the group’s application development and deployment process. This initiative will accelerate time-to-market for new applications and products while enhancing responsiveness and IT innovation.

The partnership also addresses the evolving regulatory landscape. Kyndryl supports Cesce in bolstering its security and technological resilience in alignment with the requirements of the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). This approach helps the Group maintain its robust cyber resilience capabilities, essential for its role in the financial services sector.
