Folksam Group signs five-year agreement with Kyndryl to modernize IT operations and support business performance

STOCKHOLM, January 21, 2026 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced that Folksam Group, one of Sweden’s largest mutual insurance companies serving more than four million customers with insurance and savings products, has signed a five-year agreement with Kyndryl to modernize and manage Folksam Group's mainframe IT infrastructure.  

Under the agreement, Folksam Group’s mainframe and other legacy environments will be migrated to the zCloud located in Kyndryl's Denmark data center, which provides high levels of security and efficiency, environmental sustainability, resilience and modernization support. The Denmark data center is certified under the EU Code of Conduct for Data Center Energy Efficiency and is powered by 100 percent renewable electricity.
