Daikin Europe and Kyndryl advance SAP modernization and AI readiness

BRUSSELS, September 28, 2026 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, and Daikin Europe, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., the world’s largest air conditioning manufacturer, today announced a four-year extension of their services agreement in Belgium. Kyndryl will modernize Daikin’s SAP environment to help enable AI-ready enterprise operations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMEA). The agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between the companies that began in 2012.

Over the past decade, Kyndryl has supported Daikin Europe’s SAP landscape, helping run business-critical workloads across its EMEA business. This has contributed to the enhanced resilience, performance and scalability of systems supporting manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse operations, HR, sales and other business functions.

Under the extended agreement, Kyndryl will migrate Daikin Europe’s SAP ERP landscape to RISE with SAP, leveraging AWS as the underlying cloud platform. It will lead the end-to-end transformation and provide integration and managed services, connecting SAP systems with Daikin’s broader IT landscape and supporting its cloud transformation journey across the regions.

Kyndryl will also leverage Kyndryl Bridge, its AI-powered open integration platform, to provide real-time visibility, automation and operational insights across the SAP environment. By helping connect systems and workflows, Kyndryl Bridge supports proactive monitoring and continuous modernization, improves operational resilience, and helps optimize performance across Daikin’s technology landscape.

Following the transformation, Kyndryl will continue to serve as Daikin Europe’s central IT partner for SAP infrastructure service delivery, acting as a single point of coordination and managing the interface with SAP. Services will operate on RISE with SAP and SAP Business Technology Platform, with Kyndryl providing advisory, implementation, integration and managed services.
