TOKYO, May 27, 2022 – Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced two new support services to help customers using Microsoft Azure in Japan accelerate their cloud journeys. The new services build on Kyndryl’s global strategic alliance with Microsoft, which aims to accelerate digital transformation for enterprises across industries.

Kyndryl’s Bronze Service is a simple, low-cost service for customers that includes ticketing and inquiry support to help troubleshoot routine technical issues. The Bronze Service creates an inquiry counter to help companies generate case tickets and answer inquiries. Kyndryl has utilized its extensive knowledge base of information on Microsoft Azure and IT infrastructure to provide services in Japanese through these helpdesks.

Kyndryl’s Silver Service helps customers with ongoing management of their Microsoft Azure operations. Drawing on deep experience running hybrid and multi-cloud environments, Kyndryl professionals will help customers create service resources and configure settings through Microsoft Azure Portal, as well as configure automated tasks with Microsoft Azure Automation. Kyndryl teams will work in line with customer requirements to help them boost the quality of their systems and streamline their cloud operations.

“With the launch of these services, Microsoft Azure customers will not only be able to reduce their operational and management burden, but also achieve higher quality operations by standardizing work procedures,” said Takashi Uesaka, President of Kyndryl Japan. “We are pleased to be able to support our customers and accelerate their digital transformation journeys by helping them build multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. We will gradually expand our support service options for multi-cloud environments, from simple and low-cost services to advanced services such as cloud environment operations and advisory support, to meet the needs of our customers.”

Going forward, Kyndryl will work flexibly to accommodate customers’ needs, and help further streamline and refine tasks for running and managing multi-cloud environments.
