Applying advanced intelligence to highway behavior will be a welcome improvement. But first, we need to tackle the behind-the-scenes issues that have plagued car manufacturers and the automotive industry for decades. Working with AWS and a select group of industry leaders, Kyndryl sponsored an Automotive Agentic AI Hackathon to help uncover what’s truly possible when we apply agentic AI to industry challenges.
With rigorous work in hands-on AWS sandboxes, judging support from top automotive industry customers, and extraordinary collaboration across Kyndryl, we identified three winning solutions from a field of nearly 200 submissions. Each of these production-ready prototypes has the capability to produce measurable industry value, as multi-agent AI helps us reinvent our approaches to quality, safety, supply chain management and customer experiences across the automotive industry.
01. Automotive Unified Recall Analytics (AURA)
AURA unifies warranty, service, and supplier data to identify early defect signals before they escalate into recalls. By dynamically orchestrating specialized AI agents with validation gates and human oversight, AURA accelerates recall decision readiness while reducing safety, regulatory, financial and reputational risk — enabling faster, more transparent and more responsible actions to improve road safety.
02. Agentic Intelligent Supply Management Suite (AISMS)
AISMS is a multi-agent supply chain orchestration suite that delivers real-time visibility, predictive inventory optimization and human oversight of procurement. This agentic AI solution demonstrates how intelligently coordinated agents can anticipate shortages, reduce operational friction and adapt to complex supply network disruptions dynamically to transform decision-making while helping to improve resilience.
03. AutoSense
AutoSense analyzes vehicle service data to identify potential product defects, optimize warranty costs and improve service network performance. By transforming unstructured service records data into actionable insights, AutoSense helps enable predictive, data-driven quality management. This use case underscores how automotive aftersales and warranty functions can evolve into intelligence engines that strengthen product strategy and brand loyalty.
